The Art of Group Singing with Aimée Ringle

 — (PDT, UTC-07) — (PDT, UTC-07)

The Art of Group Singing; A four-week online song circle with Aimée Ringle, exploring group singing and the craft of song stewardship. Online zoom calls will be on Thursdays, March 26 - April 16th, from 5:00-6:30 pm, Pacific Standard Time. Songs have long been a way people come together—to connect, to build resilience, and to care for one another. This series is a four-week set of song circles rooted in shared singing, with regular and thoughtful attention to the craft of song leading. Each call centers on singing together. We learn and share a variety of songs from different creators and song leaders, offered for many kinds of moments and occasions. Alongside the singing, we gently tend the practice of song leading—paying attention to how songs are introduced, how participation is invited, and how a groups energy can be supported and held with care. These circles invite listening on multiple levels: to our own voices, to one another, and to what wants to move through the group. We explore how songs are received and carried, and how they can be offered in ways that build trust, ease, and a sense of shared presence. The emphasis throughout is on singing together as the heart of the practice, with craft woven in as lived experience, rather than instruction. Presence matters more than polish, and everyone is welcome to participate in the way that feels right. No prior musical experience is required—only a willingness to show up, listen, and sing together! Sliding scale $75-$200 (please select the payment amount that works for you).

Celest Fest Eclipse Apr 5-9, 2024

 — (CDT, UTC-05) — (CDT, UTC-05)

Camp Tahuaya | Belton, TX

Let’s connect during earth's magnificent event, coined The Great American Eclipse on 4/8/2024. Celest Fest Eclipse is directly in the path of totality with 4 mins viewing time, when darkness falls, and the stars come out.

We are co-creating a village with you. We'll gather in small groups to connect, create music together, dance together, eat together, grieve together, support each other, and begin to heal together. ‍ We are addressing the questions: How do we find a path out of this "business as usual" system? How do we learn to live & work together, coming from very different backgrounds?

Please know that you will be cared for, invited in, and lovingly welcomed at Celest Fest.

This gathering blows my mind and heart open evert time I'm blessed to attend. The collective intelligence, ingenuity, generosity and skill on display and in collaborative appreciation here truly amazes me. And I attend and offer my services as a song-leader and Talent Show MC. And I learn so much every time. And the setting is breathtaking. And it feels like home to a very dear part of myself.
